the rivine
this is how we get into camp! The hole in the plants (middle) is the tunnel to the main entrance (below). The log in the bottom right corner that's leaning up is how we get onto the big log (above the tunnel to the main entrance). The big log goes two ways. if you go to the left <-, you'll get to the hunting areas. It has 4 different sections. "rabbit place","sparrow place", 'fish place", and "frog place".Past the hunting areas are riverclan territory,twolegplace,and the moonpool. To the right -> is stream place, the pond, and the river/waterfall. Past there are peaceclan territory, rainclan territory, moonclan territory, and tribe of harmony (wolves,badgers,foxes and cats) territory. (There are many other clans, tribes, and packs that surround us, but they don't have direct entrances into their territory from ours.)
Main Entrance
this is the entrance to sunclan camp. To the left is my den, the leader's den! Go right (through the red flowers that look like roses but are really just red tulips), and find the warriors' den. Farther back is the main clearing, around which is the elders' den, the nursery, the medicine cat's den, the apprentices' den, and the training hollow.
suntree
this is where we hold clan meetings. I (shinestar) sit on a low branch that is about one fox-length above the ground. The rest of the clan sit in front of me under the shade of the tree. Where the shadow is dictates what side they sit on and what way I face.
warriors' den
here's where the warriors sleep! The red tulip bush (mentioned in the "main entrance" article) is a few tail-lengths in front of the warriors' den.
medicine cat's den
There are two gaps in this huge rock pile (which was probably built by ancient twolegs or extremely large cats;). The very big cave nearest in the picture is the main den. this is where we store our herbs and other medicine. The further and smaller hole is where the medicine cat and the medicine cat's apprentice sleep. If you want more information on the herbs, follow me to the main den!
apprentices' den
this is where the apprentices sleep. In this picture, you can vaguely see a small black apprentice laying in his nest.
nursery
this is the nursery. can't see it? well good, it's supposed to be as hidden as possible so our kits and queens stay safe! ;D (P.S. the den is behind the fern thicket.)
stream place
Stream place is a wonderful oasis where our elders often sun themselves and bathe. It is the BEST place to gather moss because the moss there is the softest in the forest.
pond
This is where we drink from. it's connected to the waterfall, so it's always filtering out. that means we have plenty of water to drink! Plus, it's connected to a long, slow moving, shallow river. That makes it makes a good playground for the kits. The apprentices used to have a club here.
river
this is the river between the pond and the waterfall. It is only a few mouse-lengths deep, and it moves slow as a cat stalking prey! This keeps our cats (especially kits) safe!
Moon Pool
this is where we share tongues with starclan. It is a dangerous journey because we have to go through both twoleg AND riverclan teritory. Riverclan warriors may be our friends, but there is always the chance of conflict between us. Most of the twolegs hate us, but some are nice and try to feed us nasty kittypet treats! (blech) Bu, it IS the thought that counts, right? Plus, if kittypets eat them, they can't be totally grotesque. (not that they are the least bit okay-tasting...more like tree bark than food...)
Waterfall place
To get to this waterfall, just take the right path is the ravine! (shown at top of page) But kits are NOT allowed to cross this log without the help of a warrior!!! (It is NOT completely safe for very young cats or cats with unsure or lame footing!)
